Linda Faye Seimet, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on June 6, 2026. She was born to Edward and Lois Sheets

A graduate of Clay High School in 1962, Linda built a life centered on family, love, and devotion to others. She worked in the administrative offices for Oregon School System and as a bridal consultant at The Lion Store and Dillard’s. She also generously donated her time volunteering at Bay Park Hospital and was a member of the Glenwood Lutheran Church choir. But her first love and greatest focus were always her children and family.

Linda loved bringing people together, and every family gathering was full of food, dessert, and love. No matter the occasion, she was always perfectly dressed, well put together, and carried herself with grace. Her presence made gatherings feel special, and her love for family shaped the home and memories she created for those around her.

She shared a life of deep love and devotion with her husband, Dwuane, and together they built a family grounded in care and togetherness.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dwuane H. Seimet; her parents, Edward and Lois Sheets; her siblings, Marlene Fuller, Edward Sheets and Dennis Sheets; and her grandson, Kameron Dwuane.

She is survived by her children Kelly Gonzales (Anthony), Kurt Seimet (Kathy), and Kevin Seimet (Kimberly); grandchildren Kirsten & Dr. Jordan Martinez, Morgan & Diego Mejia, Macey Gonzales, Katlyn & Gregor Ceglaj, Kallie Seimet, Kendall Seimet, Kylie Faye & Jeffrey Peters, Kolin Seimet, Kadin and Yaxuan Seimet, Kole Seimet, Kaylabelle Seimet, and great-grandsons Dezy Mejia and Kai Ceglaj.

Visitation will be held on June 19 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a private family service at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Road, Oregon, Ohio.

The family would like to thank Legacy at The Lakes of Monclova for their care of Linda.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Toledo Humane Society or the Toledo Zoo and Aquarium.
