Linda Lee Tingley

Linda Lee Tingley, age 73, resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully, on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born on September 30, 1951, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late William and Mary (Todd) Spetz.

Linda graduated from Waite High School in 1969. While she was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her two boys, she also cared for other nieces, nephews, and family friends. She later went to work for Machining Technologies as a machine operator. Her commitment to her work was evident and she took pride in being a valued member of her team.

Linda cherished special moments with her mother; she enjoyed spending time with her, especially going on long scenic drives looking for deer, a memory that remained close to her heart throughout her life. Family meant everything to Linda; she found joy in spending time with her grandchildren and was deeply family-oriented. Even with limited-mobility, she made it a priority to stay connected with her loved ones, always reaching out to ensure they felt her love and support.

Linda graced the world as a compassionate and loving soul, known for her caring nature and for always thinking of others. She will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. This isn’t goodbye, but we will see you again…

Those left to forever cherish her memory are her loving husband of 55 years, Jerry Tingley Sr.; son, Jerry (Carrie) Jr.; grandchildren, Jocelyn (Johnny) McCoy, Valancia Diaz, Rachel (Brandon) Harris, Lorenzo Tingley and Nathan Tingley; six great grandchildren with one on the way; siblings, William “Bill” (Diane) Spetz, Mark (Cindy) Spetz, Gary (Diane) Spetz, Terry (Dave) Miller, Tom (Laura) Spetz, Glenn (Carla) Spetz, and Jim (Alice) Spetz; and many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her son, Todd Tingley; granddaughter, Jasmine Tingley; and sister, Sheryl (Karl Ridener) Spetz.

Family and friends may visit at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Road Oregon, Ohio 43616, on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at the funeral home, at 11:00 am. Following the service, Linda will be laid to rest at St. Ignatius Catholic Cemetery.
