Lois M. Helle, 88, of Williston, Ohio passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Mercy-St. Charles Hospital. She was born on April 28, 1928 in White Cloud, Michigan. Lois worked as a health aide at Luther Home of Mercy for 25 years. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Williston. In her spare time, Lois enjoyed going to Bingo, working on crossword puzzles and reading.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald; son, Robert Helle; daughter-in-law, Sue Helle; grandchildren: Shad Helle, Amy (Tod) Minnick, Kristin Helle, Annette (Todd) Dyer and Joel (Alisha) Helle; great-grandchildren, Megan, Sierra, Cheyenne, Addison, Damion, Grady, Gavin and Carly Sue; great-great-granddaughter, Susan. She was preceded in death by her son, Wayne; daughter-in-law, Sue and granddaughter, Jennifer.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Monday, March 13, 2017 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Allen Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Allen-Clay Joint Fire District.
