Marilyn Ruth Fouke

Marilyn Ruth Fouke of Oregon passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. Marilyn was born to John L. and Ruth W. (Baughn) Hoffman on May 20, 1939, in Perrysburg, Ohio. Marilyn married her husband, James Fouke, on November 5, 1977. She worked as a nurse at St. Charles Hospital in Oregon until her retirement.

Marilyn is survived by her husband of 48 years James; children James III (Paula) Fouke, Jane (John) Teneyck, Sally Cashin, Jeff (Allison) Fouke, Scott (Jennifer) Cashin, and Toni (Anthony) Hallett; 23 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and siblings Jerry (Louanne) Hoffman, Jimmy Hoffman, Diane Nordhoff, and Denise (Kevin) Benschoter. She was preceded in death by her parents, son John Fouke, daughter Connie Nelson, granddaughter Gabriella Cashin, great-grandson Conor Campos, siblings John Hoffman, Al Hoffman, Ned Hoffman, Joan Haugh, and brother-in-law William Fouke.

A visitation will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd., in Oregon, Ohio, on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Williston Cemetery.
