Mark Richard Fondessy

Mark Richard Fondessy age 66 of Curtice, Ohio passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, December 8, 2022, after a brief illness. Mark was born to Richard and Joy (Meeks) Fondessy on June 13, 1956, in Oregon, Ohio. He graduated from Clay High School and worked as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at Envirosafe Services. Mark was a member of the Local 18. In his free time, Mark could be found boating and fishing on Lake Erie, working in his vegetable garden, watching the Packers, or visiting casinos.

Mark is survived by his loving wife Joan, son Christopher, daughter Shannon (Stiner) Wright, stepson Jake Sendner; grandchildren Iehle and Laynie Wright; and brother Ricky (Sandy Cordell) Fondessy. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be planned. Arrangements are being handled by Freck Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions are appreciated to the Toledo Northwest Ohio Food Bank.
