Mark Miller

Mark D. Miller, age 71, resident of Woodville, Ohio, passed away in the comfort of his home, surrounded by loved ones, on Monday, July 21, 2025. He was born on June 15, 1954, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Donald and Elizabeth M. “Jerry” (Smart) Miller.

A graduate of Waite High School, class of 1972, Mark furthered his education at the University of Toledo, earning his Bachelor's Degree in engineering.

Mark devoted 24 and a half years of his professional life to DeVilbiss Company. Later, he took on the role of an operator at B.P., in Oregon, Ohio.

Mark served as an usher at Sacred Heart for 34 years. Outside of his professional life, Mark embraced a variety of interests that showcased his zest for life. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who relished spending time outdoors, appreciating the beauty of nature. His passion for photography allowed him to capture moments that many will treasure forever. Mark enjoyed boating and loved riding his Harley, as well as driving around in his 1965 Nova, which was meticulously customized by his brother, Dave (Herk) Miller.

Family played a central role in Mark's life. He found great joy in teaching his son-in-law, Duke, essential home improvement skills, a special bond that will always be cherished. Mark’s love for his family was evident in everything he did, as he made it a priority to spend quality time with them, creating memories that will be held dear by all who knew him.

He was a man of genuine warmth and kindness and will be deeply missed. This isn't goodbye, but we will see you again...

Those left to forever cherish his memory are his wife, whom together found love for each other, Sherry Reamsnyder; daughters, Erika (Duke) Dawkins and Andrea (Chad) Davenport; grandchildren, Colton (Tay), Delaney, and Olivia Dawkins, and Brady Hunter Davenport; siblings, Cathy (Tom) Tifft, David (Sharon Wuertz) Miller, and Barb (Barry) Bayes-Kinsel; and much-loved nieces and nephews.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Elizabeth “Jerry” Miller.

Marks family would like to thank the many dear faithful friends and neighbors whom visited, called, and showed their support in the many ways possible. Your kindness, love, and care will forever be grateful to Mark and his family.

Family and friends may visit at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Road, Oregon, Ohio 43616, on Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am, where Mark’s memorial service will take place at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Metroparks in Toledo, or the Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) Society.
