Mary Ann Henderson

Mary Ann Henderson, age 87, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025 at Three Meadows Nursing Home. She was born on June 7, 1938 in Toledo, Ohio to Augustine and Ellen (Lynch) Bauer. Mary was married on September 16, 1969 to the love of her life, Robert Henderson in Honolulu, Hawaii. She worked many years at K-Mart, starting out as clerk and eventually being promoted to supervisor, which she was very proud of. After retiring, Mary enjoyed her flower gardens, feeding the squirrels and volunteering at the Wernet Center. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her children, Irene Sperry and Richard (Carey) Henderson; grandchildren, James Henderson, Michael O. Sperry Jr., Matthew Sperry, Justen Henderson, Mikayla King, Mindy Hughes; great-grandchildren, Cameron King, Chloe King, Bentley Sperry, Paisley Henderson, Natalie Sperry, Cash King, Lyla Henderson, Savannah Sperry, Rylee Sperry, and Mia Hughes; her sister, Janet (Benny) Shannon; and her sister-in-law, Karen Bauer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; son, James G. Henderson and son-in-law, Michael O. Sperry Sr.

Family and friends may visit at Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S Wynn Rd. in Oregon, Ohio, on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. where funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
