Matthew Walter Boyer, Jr., 1, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017 at St. Vincent Medical Center after a long battle with Hypo Plastic Left Heart Syndrome. He was born on September 30, 2015 in Toledo to Alicia Light and Matthew Boyer.
Matthew is survived by his loving parents, Alicia Light and Matthew Boyer; sisters, Leigha Gonyea and Mallory Boyer; grandparents, Roxane Miklos, Bonnie Porter, Michael Boyer and Jerry Light; great-grandparents, Skip Harris, Carol Light, Terrie Dotson and Helen Boyer; godparents, Frank and Crystal Harris and many cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Bracey and great-grandparents, Jerry Light Sr., Franklin Harris and Harold Boyer.
A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Martin Luther Lutheran Church 601 Nevada St. Toledo, OH. where family will greet guests after 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the family at
