Michael Glenn Burgess

Michael Glenn Burgess age 72 of Oregon passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio-Toledo. Mike was born to Richard “Glenn” and Elizabeth “Betty” Burgess in Toledo, Ohio on November 10, 1950. He attended Waite High School and married his childhood sweetheart Pam (Sebring) in 1970. Mike worked at Prefinished Metals as a Metal Coating Inspector for over 30 years. He loved to golf, visit casinos, travel, and go fishing. Mike was a Cleveland Indians and Browns fan. His favorite thing to do was spend time with his grandkids, family, and loyal friends; all who knew him as a kind person with a great sense of humor.

Mike is survived by his wife of 52 years Pam; children Jeannine (Keith) Czop, Jason (Toni Jo Boyd) Burgess; grandchildren Jesecca (Sean Pecina) Burgess, Abaegail Czop, Maggie Burgess, Lillian Czop, J Glenn Burgess, Charlee Burgess, and great-granddaughter Sophia Rorigi; siblings Gary Burgess, Betty Marie (Ray) Tucker, Maryanne (Ken) Bacon, and Cathy (Mike) Kosciuczyk; good friends Steve and Tammie Brinkman and Sandy Moon (and family); and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Betty, brothers Billy and Donnie, and good friend Bobby Moon.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Freck Funeral Chapel from 2 until 6 p.m. A funeral service will begin at 6 p.m. Memorial contributions are appreciated to Epiphany of Our Lord- St. Thomas.
