Michael T. Osborne

April 18, 1957 — June 8, 2025

Michael Osborne, 68, passed away surrounded by his family at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg, Ohio on June 8, 2025. Michael was born on April 18, 1957 to Harold and Opal (Potter) Osborne in Toledo, Ohio. He would go on to raise 5 children and later meet his future wife, Karen Velte. Karen and Michael were married on July 3rd, 1998, and celebrated over 27 years of marriage.

Michael was a Waite High School graduate and when he was able to work was a transporter for Yark Automotive. An avid bowler, Mike had over 13 perfect 300 games on record and had many trophies to showcase his bowling talents. He was so passionate about the sport that he would even work at Miracle Lanes and Jugs when he was able. In addition to bowling, Mike loved to golf, spending many Sunday mornings on the green at the golf course with his friends and son, Michael. Michael spent years in a fantasy football league with his best buddies, eventually taking on the role of commissioner of the league for a time. He had a strong interest in cars, attending car shows and owning different kinds of cars throughout his life. This interest extended to NASCAR as well and his love for the sport was something that he shared with his daughter Tiffany, they could both be found watching NASCAR races on Sundays or cheering on the Cowboys during Sunday Night football. Michael was also a gifted artist, having a particular talent of drawing freehand. If you gave him a piece of paper, you would be amazed by what he could create. Michael will be dearly missed by his friends and family who cherished his life, and they will miss hearing some of his famous sayings such as “What's up Toots/Homie/Shortcake!”, “Hey Kiddo!”, and “See ya later alligator/afterwhile crocodile”.

Michael is survived by his wife, Karen Osborne; daughter, Tiffany (Chad) Osborne-Garcia; sons Michael and Timothy Osborne, and Aaron (Mandee) Collins; step-children, Jessica Tucker and Andrew Velte; grandchildren Raine, Chad (CJ), Mckenzie, Trevor, Landon, Alyssa, Tegan, and Katelyn; nieces Whitney, Samantha, Brittany, and Tara; step-grandchildren, Tyler Tucker, Madison Velte, and Charlotte Velte; brother, Brian (Debé); sister-in-law, Debbie (Gerald) Freels; and numerous cousins and beloved pet, Harley Rose.
