Michael Gary Peters

Michael Gary Peters, age 33, of Toledo, OH, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024. He was born in Oregon, OH to Gary Peters and Jodie Edwards on September 9, 1990. Michael was a hard worker and had a great sense of humor which could brighten the room and have everyone laughing. He loved to play guitar and write songs; music was his passion and his greatest joy was being with his family.

Left to cherish Michael’s memory are his mother, Jodie Gruic; his father, Gary (Lisa) Peters; his sisters and brother, Nikki, Katie, Melanie, and Mark; his nieces and nephew, Lilly, Delia, and Ethan; his grandmothers, June Edwards and Judy Peters; and his aunts, Karen Peters, Natalie Peters and Mary Kolanko; and his uncles, Jim Edwards and Joe Edwards; and his great-aunt Gail Keaton; and great-uncles, Harry Robinson and Cotton (Connie) Edwards. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ethan Edwards, and Dallas Peters; brother, CJ Marquis; and his great-aunt Rita Robinson.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Michael will be laid to rest at Lake Township Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
