Michelle Lee Reed, age 35, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Mercy-St. Charles Hospital. She was born on October 9, 1981 in Toledo to William Kowalka and Laura Poiry. Michelle was a devout Christian who enjoyed attending church with her mom and dad. She had a special love for cats, having 1 of her own, named Lewey. Michelle will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving family, husband, Robert R. Reed; mother, Laura (Jeff) Cooper; father, William (Tina Straub) Kowalka; sister, Angela (Troy) Fowler; brother, Christopher (Delia) Kowalka; grandfather, William Poiry; mother-in-law, Linda Reed; brothers-in-law, Adam and Michael Reed; sister-in-law, Grace Reed along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Michelle was preceded in death by her grandparents, Fred and Sue Kowalka and Laura Poiry.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Sunday, October 8, 2017, from 11-5 p.m. where services will be held at 5 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to Our Father Fellowship Church or Helping Hands of St. Louis.
