Michelle (Shelly) Lynn Timofeev, 47, passed away on March 6, 2026, in Toledo, Ohio. She was born to Chris and Linda in Toledo, Ohio, on November 16, 1978. On paper, Shelly graduated from Clay High School in Oregon, Ohio, but her heart graduated from Sharyland High School in Mission, Texas.
Shelly was a member of Ensemble Kitka growing up, sharing in the traditions of the old country. She was also given the gift of music from her father as she sat by his side while he ran sound for bands. This was a love she never grew out of. Throughout high school, she was an avid tennis player, making varsity in her sophomore year. She moved back to Ohio at the end of her senior year and shortly after found her greatest joy in being a mother of two amazing sons. If you met Shelly, you couldn’t help but love her. She had an energy that filled a room and a smile that would brighten the darkest of days. There was never a time that she wouldn’t make time to help someone who needed an ear or someone to sit silently with. She had a passion for life, which she’d tell you is because she was a Scorpio, and a thirst for the deeper meaning in all things. She will be deeply missed by many.
Shelly is survived by her two children, Damien and Dyllan (Arianna) Donbrosky; grandchildren, Avah, Svetlana, and Helena Donbrosky; father, Chris (Maggie) Timofeev; sister, Leslie Timofeev, and her grandmother, Sophie (Shimagoff) Timofeev. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda (Mainz) Timofeev, and grandfather, Ivan Timofeev.
