Nancy Tennessee McFarland

Nancy McFarland, age 85, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo Center. She was born on August 15, 1940 in Knoxville, Tennessee to Herman and Ethel (Bryant) Austin. Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

Nancy is survived by her children, Ernestine (Jack) Rippke, Mary Bagheri, Ernest (Diane) McFarland Jr, Jean (Kenny) Lee, David (Lori) McFarland, Elizabeth (Carlos) Revella, and Donald McFarland; 19 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and four great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ernest McFarland Sr., sons, Norbert and Joseph McFarland, daughter, Patricia Gastly, two sisters, and four brothers.

She will be laid to rest at Buffalo Baptist Church Cemetery in Rutledge, Tennessee. Memorial contributions can be made to the Toledo Humane Society.
