Nancy Carolyn Myers

Nancy Carolyn Myers, age 90, resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025, surrounded by love. She was born in Toledo, Ohio, on December 8, 1934, to the late Wade and Lola (Gepheart) Campbell.

Nancy graduated from Waite High School, class of 1952. She worked at Jobst Institute for 8 years, before retiring due to her health. Nancy's personality was characterized by her loving and nurturing spirit. She found joy in the simplest of activities, such as crocheting beautiful afghans for her family, which are cherished tokens of her affection. Her nurturing tendencies extended into her leisure pursuits; she enjoyed putting together puzzles, watching NASCAR races, indulging in the excitement of tennis matches, particularly during the US Open, and cheering on her favorite baseball team.

Family meant everything to Nancy. She loved to shop with her sister, Marilyn, creating fond memories that would last a lifetime. Evenings were often spent watching old movies with her husband, reliving classic moments from the past, and listening to country music and country music shows.

She leaves behind countless memories that will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her gentle spirit and compassionate heart will continue in the lives she touched throughout her 90 years. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of kindness and love will endure forever.

Those left to forever cherish her memory are her loving children, Connie (Dana) Fairchild and Greg (Brenda) Myers; grandchildren, Holly (Jason), Dustin (Victoria), Alexis (Brad), Hannah (John), Logan, and Timothy (Keegan); eleven great grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Angela.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, David Myers; son, Doug Myers; sisters, Marilyn and Alice; and brothers, Robert and Ernie.

Family and friends may visit at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Road, Oregon, Ohio 43616, on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, where the funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm. Following the service, Nancy will be laid to rest at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
