Nancy Nagy

On Friday March 19, 2021 surrounded by her children and grandchildren Nancy Nagy, a loving mother and grandmother passed away at the age of 90.

Nancy was born on January 2, 1931 in Toledo, Ohio to Harry Lee Holmes and Mary Barbara Veres.

Nancy married Joseph W Nagy Sr on August 19, 1950.  They were married for 63 beautiful years.  They had 8 children, 26 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild together.

Surviving Nancy are her children, Joseph W. (Sherri) Nagy Jr., Barbara (Roger) Loving, Deborah (Edward) McGarry, Sandra (Jeff Zaleski) Dusseau, Kenneth (Teresa) Nagy, and faithful feline companion Sammy. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Joseph; daughter Patricia Coughlin; son John Nagy; daughter Nancy Belknap; granddaughter Jolynn Nagy; and great-granddaughter Katie Nagy.

She loved her family. Her entire life was devoted to them. She made the very best Mac N cheese, the many great-grandchildren will attest to that.  She also enjoyed cutting the grass, watching the ducks, General Hospital, and testing her luck at the casino.

The family will have a private service at a later date. The Freck Funeral Chapel is honored to serve Nancy's family during this difficult time.
