Nancy Ann Sedlak of New Carlisle, Ohio, passed away at Hospice of Dayton on March 4, 2026. Nancy was born on March 25, 1937, to Ruth and Robert Keeley in Toledo, Ohio. In her early years, she took and then taught tap dancing. In 1955, she graduated from Waite High School, where she enjoyed being a majorette. Soon after, she began working at the Toledo Trust Bank.
On August 8, 1959, she married the boy next door, Bill Sedlak. During their 62 years of marriage, Nancy maintained her career in banking, including 24 years of world travel with Bill in the U.S. Air Force. Their last deployment was at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio, where they decided to reside. While there, they made many friends who became family. Nancy and Bill were active members of the V.F.W. Post 9966 and American Legion Post 0286, where Nancy worked long and hard on various charitable events. She was an excellent cook and baker who shared her bounty with friends and neighbors.
Nancy is survived by close friends, Teresa "T.J.", John, Jim, Karen, Joyce, Bud, Mary Jo, and Jake; sisters-in-law, Carol Keeley, Terri Sedlak, Janice Kerstetter, Kathy (John) Hatfield, Barb (Rick) Manion, and Deanna Nagangast; brother-in-law, Tim (Connie) O' Connor; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, sister Joanne (Pete) Zunk, brother Bob Keeley, sisters-in-law Donna O'Connor and Patti Sedlak-Schinharl, and brothers-in-law Tom, Larry, Jim Sedlak, and Don Kerstetter.

Family and friends may visit at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd. in Oregon, Ohio, on Sunday, March 8, 2026, from 12 noon until 2 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Graveside services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Lake Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial contribution are asked to consider Hospice of Dayton or the donor's choice.
