Olive Virginia (Emerick) Bennett

Virginia Bennett, 92, died Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo Center. She was born November 29, 1926 in Toledo. Virginia was a member of Hope Community Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and served on the Mission Board among other church activities. She loved to bake and play cards.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Linda McClanahan; daughter-in-law, Mary Bennett; 9 grandchildren; many, many great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and May Emerick; husband, Ora Bennett; son, Charles Bennett and daughter, Wanita Perales; sisters, Beulah, Edna and Jesse and brother Bob.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, December 27, 2018, from 2-7 p.m. where a funeral service will be held Friday, December 28, 2018 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
