Orpha F. Campolongo

Orpha F. Campolongo, age 74, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at her home surrounded by her cherished family. Born on October 12, 1951, in Toledo, Ohio, Orpha was the beloved daughter of Randolf and Frances (Williams) Boyer.Throughout her life, Orpha demonstrated a warm and welcoming spirit, qualities that shone brightly in her many years of work as a bartender. She spent a significant portion of her career at Mugshots downtown, where she built lasting connections with patrons. Later, she graced the Maumee Bay Resort as a banquet bartender, bringing her friendly demeanor and professionalism to every occasion she served.

On August 6, 1983, Orpha married her loving husband Alfred, with whom she shared many treasured years of companionship. Orpha found great joy in spending quality time with her family, embracing simple pleasures that enriched her days. She delighted in playing Euchre, shooting pool, bowling, and singing karaoke—activities that brought laughter and warmth to her gatherings. Her fondness for casino trips offered moments of excitement, while her regular watching of General Hospital provided comfort and routine. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Orpha is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Alfred; children, Jim (Anna) Fields, Tabatha (Shane) Penwell, Kevin (Candy) Brice, and Robert (Luann) Campolongo; 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and four great great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Clyde Boyer and dog, Garth. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, John; sister, Patricia, and brothers, Michael and Randy.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 2 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Friday at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or American Cancer Society.
