Patricia Suzann (Sue) Andrews

Patricia Suzann “Sue” Andrews age 88 of Oregon passed away Saturday January 28, 2023. Sue was born to Dr. Casmir and Frances (Dibling) Czarnecki on September 3, 1934 in Toledo, Ohio. She was a 1952 graduate of Saint Ursula Academy and a 1953 graduate of Flower Hospital's School of Practical Nursing School. Sue married Leon Andrews on February 6, 1954 and together they raised seven children. She worked as a nurse for St. Charles Hospital and Sacred Heart- Little Sisters of the Poor and as a greeter for Hoeflinger Funeral Home and Freck Funeral Chapel. Sue volunteered for St. Thomas Aquinas Parish Dinners, St. Vincent Hospital Patient Care, and the American Red Cross. She shared her talents singing in the Toledo Choral Society and the St. Thomas Aquinas Choir.

Sue is survived by her sister Joyce Roller; children Suzan (James) MacHarg, Judith (Timothy) Smith, Jeanne (Gregory) Zajac, Michelle Andrews, Teresa St. Marie, Patrick (Cheryl Vance) Andrews, and Dr. Christopher (Autumn Leaves) Andrews Cmdr. U.S. Navy; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters Barbara Walker and Jayne Lewandowski; and husband Leon.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 2 until 8 p.m. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Epiphany of Our Lord- St Thomas 729 White St. Toledo, Ohio. where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
