Patrizia Langenderfer

Patrizia Langenderfer, 64, of Northwood, Ohio, was called to be with the Lord on March 4, 2024.

She was born in Pratola Peligna, Abruzzo, Italy on February 6, 1960, to Emilia and Nello DiPietro. Patrizia, along with her family, immigrated to the United States in 1965.  She attended Sacred Heart School and Cardinal Stritch High School where she made many life-long friends.

Patrizia married Rodney “Spike” Langenderfer, the love of her life, on May 5, 1984.  They enjoyed 40 years together and were blessed with three children.  Patrizia loved to spend time with her family.  Her greatest love was being a grandmother to her two grandchildren.  Patrizia treasured the time she spent with her grandkids and absolutely loved being their Nonna.

Patrizia was preceded in death by her mother and father. She is survived by her husband Rodney “Spike” Langenderfer; children Tanya (Joshua) Peterson, Victor (Meghan) Langenderfer and Ryan Langenderfer; her grandchildren, Emilia and Blake Langenderfer; sister, Norma Vallera; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may visit at the Freck Funeral Chapel , 1155 S. Wynn Rd., Oregon, OH, on Monday, March 11, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Epiphany of the Lord Parish, St Stephen Catholic Church, 1880 Genessee St., Toledo, OH on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior in the church narthex. Patrizia will be laid to rest at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to Epiphany of the Lord Parish, Toledo, OH.
