Richard Hunyor, age 72 of Curtice, Ohio, passed away at Parkcliffe Community of Northwood on July 13, 2026. Rick was born to James and Emma Jane (Wurst) Hunyor on December 29, 1953, in Oregon, Ohio. He was a 1971 graduate of Northwood High School and worked in the Paint Shop at Jeep, where he was a member of the UAW. Rick loved having a good time, he enjoyed listening to classic rock, and was a good pool player.
Rick is survived by his children Nicole Hunyor, Jason Hunyor, and Jordan Hunyor; 5 grandchildren; siblings Jim (Kathy) Hunyor, Bill (Cindi) Hunyor, Kathy (Dave) Eckhart, and Cindy (Terry) Toth. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Emma Jane.
In honor of Rick's wishes, he will be cremated.
