Richard D. "Rick" Sheehy

Richard D. “Rick” Sheehy, 59, died Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital. He was born October 16, 1959 in Oregon. Rick was a 1977 graduate of Cardinal Stritch High School. He enjoyed music, reading, news and sports, especially Notre Dame. Rick was a very kind hearted and compassionate man who always had a smile to offer. He was a friend to all.

Rick is survived by his significant other, Yvonne Brownfield; children, Kristen (Paige), Meghan and Richard; siblings, James (Melinda) Sheehy, Diane (Gerry) Krueger and Joni Miller (Bill Haas); granddaughter, Parker; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends, including special friend, Mark Demecs. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Janet (Materni) Sheehy.

A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Epiphany of the Lord Parish,St. Thomas Aquinas, 729 White St., Toledo, OH, with family receiving friends from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Freck Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
