Roberto Y Rivera, Jr

Roberto Y. Rivera, Jr., 83, of Walbridge, Ohio passed away November 23, 2018 at his home. He was born April 28, 1935 to Roberto and Antonia (Ybarra) Rivera in Texas. Roberto was employed at Toledo Hospital, Continental Coffee Company, and worked many years at Seaway Foodtown from where he retired. Roberto became one of Jehovah’s Witness as a young man. His lifelong activity was sharing Bible truths through public lecture, ministry school, and the door-to-door preaching work.

He is survived by his sons, Jeffrey Rivera, Philip Rivera, Todd Rivera, Chad (Deanna) Rivera; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Rudolph R. Rivera, Amada R. Avalos and Rene P. Rivera. Roberto was preceded in death in 2015 by his loving wife, Nancy L. Rivera; his parents and his brother, Reymundo.

Family and friends may attend the funeral service at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 224 Lemoyne Rd. Northwood, Ohio on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018 at 11 a.m.
