Rodney Lee Bearns

Rodney L. Bearns, 73, of Graytown, Ohio passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022.  He was born on September 8, 1948 in Graytown, Ohio to Orten and Leona Bearns.  Rodney was a graduate of Oak Harbor High School.  He was a lifelong farmer who enjoyed raising cattle, and growing hay and straw to take to the Amish.  Rodney loved visiting with his family.

Rodney is survived by his sister, Sharon Bearns, and his cousins, Robert Foss, Carol Foss, Mary Foss, Emily Kruse, Doris Holaday and Gretchen (Tom) Tedrow.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, from 11:00-12:30 p.m. where services will be held 12:30 p.m.  Burial will follow at Elliston Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Donor’s choice.
