Ronald “Ronnie” Scheanwald Jr., age 57, passed away on January 26, 2026, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg, Ohio. He was born on August 19, 1968, in Toledo, Ohio, to Ronald and Cheryl (Lutman) Scheanwald Sr.
Ronnie was a true jack of all trades, known for his hardworking nature and generous spirit. He worked as a welder for Commercial Comfort Systems and spent many years as a mechanic, skills he proudly put to use both professionally and personally. Ronnie had a passion for working on cars and was always willing to lend a hand, helping countless people with his knowledge, talent, and problem-solving abilities. If something needed fixing, Ronnie was the one you called.
Above all, Ronnie deeply loved his two sons, who meant the world to him and brought him great pride and joy. He also had a deep love for music, especially classic rock. Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd were among his favorites, and he found joy in playing the guitar, often losing himself in the music he loved so much. Ronnie will be remembered for his skillful hands, his kind heart, and his willingness to help anyone in need. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Ronnie is survived by his sons, Ryan (Jayme) Scheanwald and Andrew (Autumn) Scheanwald; his granddaughter, Ava; and his sister, Tina Scheanwald. Also a grandbaby on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents.
