Ronald "Ron" Street

Ronald Wayne Street, age 77, of Elmore, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at home surrounded by family.  He was born on September 28, 1945 in Nashville, Tennessee to Winfrey Neil and Dimple Doris Street.  Ron was a 1964 graduate of Macomber High School.  He worked as an operations manager for Sun Oil Refinery for 33 years, retiring in 2001.  After retiring, he worked for BP Refinery for another seven years.  In his spare time, Ron enjoyed fishing, bowling, and spending time with his family.  He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Detroit Tigers fan.  Ron was a member of the Toledo Bass Club, Fremont Moose and Eagles, and volunteered at the Millbury Fire Department.  He will be dearly missed.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Loretta; daughter, Tammy Street; son, Michael Street; grandchildren, Kurt (Brittany) Pryka, Corey (Christina) Pryka, Reegan (Josh) McConkey, Evan Price, Ryan (Andrea) Price, Ben (Ciarra) Street, and Will Street; great-grandchildren, Dominiq, Myah, Carter, Lincoln, RJ, Nevaeh, Quentin, Silas, and Harper.  He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Ronald Lee, and brothers, Dean and Jerry Street.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon, Ohio on Monday, May 29, 2023 from 2-8:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions can be made to Victory Church-Fremont, Ohio or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
