Sandra M. LaFountaine, 78, of Oregon, Ohio and formerly of Curtice, Ohio, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2017 at Bay Park Community Hospital. She was born February 3, 1938 to Daniel and Marie McCarthy and was a loving wife to Leonard H. LaFountaine whom she married on June 7, 1957. For over 13 years, Sandra worked for McDonald’s on Navarre Ave in Oregon.
She is survived by her son, Daniel (Kimberly) LaFountaine; grandchildren, Derek and Anna LaFountaine; siblings, Gladys and Donald (Ann); stepfather, Ira Don “Deed” Maze; and stepbrother, Jack. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard; son, Howard L. LaFountaine; brother, Michael and sister, Donna.
