Sandra Kay Pierce

Sandra Kay Pierce, 70, of Toledo, OH gained her wings and was called home on Thursday, September 11, 2025. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends. She graduated from Clay High School. Sandy married the love of her life, Robert (Popsie) on May 24, 1974 and had two children together, Sandy also adopted a son.

She was employed at Meijer bakery for ten plus years. She enjoyed moving her furniture around in her house. She enjoyed going to storage auctions, and going on crazy adventures with her daughter. She loved to make the kids Halloween costumes when they were younger. She would always make friends anywhere she would go and her nickname from everyone was "mama". She was very bougie, she had to have everything match. Sandy loved her dog, scruffy, that Popsie bought for her. Not only was she an amazing mom, aunt, grandmother, wife, she was an amazing mother-in-law. Sandy really loved her family, especially her grandkids. Sandy, God knew you were weak and called you home, now you have your wings; its time for you to go home and be with Popsie. He's up there waiting for you, now go in peace, you are finally pain free.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Cole (Tia), Bud (Tammy) and Randy Jr. (Cheryl); brothers, David (Nancy) and Randy Nelms; sister-in-laws, Bonnie (Floyd) Pierce and Becky (Tom) Clark; grandchildren, Jennifer (Josh) Jacob, Melody, Lilly and Spencer; great-grandchildren Emma and Jaxon along with many cousins and members of the Colemart family. 

Sandy is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert; Father, William Benge; step-dad, Charles Nelms; and mom, Delores Nelms.

A Celebration of Life for Sandy will be held at a later time; the family will let everyone know via Facebook.
