Sharon May Orth

Sharon May Orth, age 74, of Oregon, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. Sharon was born on September 20, 1951, in Port Clinton, Ohio, to Donald and Clara (Hipp) Manning. Sharon attended Clay High School and married Donald Orth on August 8, 1967. Sharon worked as a silk screener for Cameo for many years until her retirement.

Sharon loved the outdoors. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and being in nature. She was a proud grandma and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also liked to crochet.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 59 years, Donald; daughters, Sherry (Jay Sturdivant) Orth, Anna (Don) Braswell, Loriann Coutcher, and Dawn (Bobby) Brown; grandchildren, Amber, Jessica (J.D.), Justin, Brandy (Salvador), Mark (Julie), Curtis (Brittney), Kristen (Derick), Matthew (Jasmine), Nathen, Sean (Tara), Renea (Ryan), Leeann (Conner), and Suzann; many great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; siblings, Ron Manning, Connie Mulinix, Sandra (Kenneth) Hurley, Gary (Tina) Manning, Beatrice (Tommy) Lane and Terry Manning; Uncle John Hipp, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tammy Sue; granddaughter DeaDee; and sisters Mary and Donna.

A visitation will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd, in Oregon, Ohio, on Saturday, August 22, 2026 from 2 until 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Sunday at 1 p.m. Memorial contributions are appreciated to family.
