Sharon Jean Paquette

Sharon Jean Paquette, 85, a resident at the Gardens of St. Francis, passed away on July 5, 2025 at Toledo Hospital surrounded by family. She was born to Howard V. Paquette and Veronica C. Paquette (Hummer) in Toledo Ohio on June 13th, 1940. She would go on to graduate from Whitmer High School, followed by graduating from Bowling Green State University with a degree in education.

Sharon led a full and vibrant life, dedicating nearly 40 years to her career as a physical education teacher in New York and retiring from Niagara Wheatfield Senior High School. A passionate Miami Dolphins fan, she proudly supported her team even while living in the heart of Buffalo Bills country. Sharon found joy in staying active and social—she was an avid golfer who played in many leagues, and she also loved bocce ball, euchre,and traveling to new places. Her life was enriched by the deep friendships she nurtured over the years, and she often spoke fondly of the close friends with whom she shared so many of these treasured activities.

Sharon is survived by her sister Sandra Ulrich, brother Howard Paquette; nephews Joel (Nancy) McNally, Bryan McNally; niece Shari (Scott) Wellsand numerous great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Veronica Paquette, brother-in-law Duane Ulrich and nephew Brant McNally.

Services and internment will be private and entrusted to the care of the family.
