Sonya Ann Berryhill went home to be with our Lord suddenly on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at her home in Fostoria, Ohio. Sonya was born on January 23, 1984, in Kingman, Arizona, to John “Marty” Berryhill and Elizabeth (Stephens) Donna.

She was a graduate of Clay High School in Oregon, Ohio. Sonya enjoyed cooking, photography, crafting, and watching her children grow into smart, loving, and wonderful people. She worked for many years as a caregiver for developmentally disabled individuals and truly loved both her work and the people she cared for. Sonya struggled with addiction for several years, but she worked incredibly hard to rebuild her life and had been clean and sober for over three years. On July 25, 2024, she proudly graduated from the PIVOT Program in Seneca County with her family by her side. Though she endured a great deal of pain, she remained strong with the love and support of her fiancé, Michael Bullock.

Sonya was preceded in death by her father, Marty Berryhill; her maternal grandparents, Harry Stephens of Wheatland, Wyoming, and M. Rochelle Stephens of Tiffin, Ohio; her paternal grandparents, Glen and Audrey Kansorka; her aunts, LuAnn Wood and Lori Walters, both of Georgia; her partner, Kevin O'Donnell; and her sister, Tracy Berryhill.

She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth (David) Donna of Tiffin; her grandmother, Judy Faye Stephens of Wheatland, Wyoming; her aunt, Kate (Kenny) Prouty of Douglas, Wyoming; her uncle, Chuck Stephens of Wheatland, Wyoming; her twin brother, Stephen (Kim) Berryhill of Coon Rapids, Minnesota; her sisters, Theresa Hamlet, Sarah (TJ) Miller of Northwood, and Alisha (Jon) Ruckreigle of Bellevue; her stepbrothers, Kevin (Emily) Donna and Doug (Ashley) Donna, both of Tiffin, and Greg (Kim) Donna of Kempner, Texas; her fiancé, Michael Bullock of Fostoria, and his son, Wilbur; her children, Jaylon Woods and Katelyn O'Donnell; her stepchildren, Heaven O'Donnell, Haven O'Donnell, and Kevin O'Donnell; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Sonya was an organ donor and will continue helping others through the donation of tissue.

A celebration of Sonya’s life will be held at a later date.
