Susan Martin

Susan R. Martin, 50 years old, passed away on Sunday May 3rd at Toledo Hospital. She was born from Thomas Martin and Marcella Martin in Toledo, Ohio on June 24, 1975. She would go on to graduate from Bowsher Highschool. Susan would meet James Oberdier and they would be together for 22 years until his passing in March of 2024.

Susan would always say her biggest accomplishment was her daughter Sentori Oberdier. She would call her her "miracle" because she never thought she could have kids. Susan always said "she would have had a million of them if she could". She never had a favorite color or a favorite flower, she liked all things that were beautiful and smelled good. Susan was ever the optimist no matter the situation or struggle, always a glass half-full type of person.

Susan is survived by her daughter's Sentori Oberdier, Randi Ascencio(Logan), and Ayla Schroeder. While Ayla and Randi were never her biological daughters, she treated them as such. She is also survived by her granddaughter Violet and her cousin Mark, Kim, and Tonya. She is preceded in death by her parents and life partner of 22 years, James Oberdier.
