Tamra L. Kristof

Tamra L. Kristof, age 86, resident of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Saturday, September 5, 2026. She was born in Toledo, Ohio, on April 20, 1940, to the late Robert and Alice (Gantz) Dorr.

Tamra graduated from Central Catholic High School and continued her education at the University of Toledo, where she received her master’s degree in education. With her love for teaching, she worked as an elementary school teacher for Toledo schools, where she retired after 41 dedicated years.

Tamra loved art! She enjoyed China painting and going to arts and crafts fairs. She loved playing golf, anything with glitz and glam, and of course shopping!

Tamra’s love and smile will forever be missed. It is not goodbye, but we will see you again…

Those left to forever cherish her memory are her loving husband of 64 years, Frank, but to Tamra, “Boise”, whom she married on May 16, 1962; children, Philip (Barb) Kristof, Jim (Sherri) Kristof, Kerrie (Larry) Smith, and Kraig (Karen) Kristof; 10 grandchildren; and sister, Sheryl (John) Bibish.

In addition to her parents, Tamra was preceded in death by her brother, Daryl Dorr.

Family and friends may visit at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Road, Oregon, Ohio 43616, on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm and following services, Tamra will be laid to rest at St. Ignatius Cemetery.
