Timothy Lewis

Timothy Lewis, age 66, of Clyde, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at the Willows of Bellevue.  He was born on August 29, 1955 in Oregon, Ohio to Larry and Jeanene Lewis.  Tim was a graduate of Clay High School and worked as a machinist for Royal Tool and later Progress Design and Machine.  During his career he worked on many things but was most proud of his role in building a machine which ground glass for the space shuttle.  Tim was a history buff, who also loved making model ships and planes.  On top of this he was an avid rock and roll fan.

Tim is survived by his son, Jonathan Lewis; brothers, Kevin Lewis, and Tony Lewis; sister, Teri Forrest; and niece Chantal Lewis to whom he was like a father.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Monday, April 18, 2022, from 2-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday in the funeral home at 10:30 a.m.  Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
