Troy Mcdonald Carpenter

Troy McDonald Carpenter, Jr., age 84, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020.  He was born December 20, 1935 to Troy, Sr., and Helen (Fryman) Carpenter.  He enlisted in the United States Navy and served honorably in the Korean War.  He was a past member of VFW Post 2510.  He is survived by Nancy Carpenter; his children Alan (Amy), Tim (Kerry), Pam and Marylou (Dave); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings Jane, Jack (Joyce), Betty, Barb, Jim, Judy and sister-in-law Monica. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert, sister Patricia (Bob), sister-in-law Caroline and brother-in-law’s Karl, Frank and Carl.  Family and friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd Oregon, OH 43616 on Sunday, July 5, 2020 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 6, 2020 at 12:30 PM with interment and military funeral honors to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
