Wade A. Young, 81, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Genesis of Point Place. He was born on December 13, 1935 in Toledo, Ohio to Fred and Margaret Young. Wade served in the Army National Guard and worked as a repairman for the City of Toledo-Water Department. He spent over 40 year’s commercial fishing on Lake Erie.
He is survived by his daughters, Kim Rovito and Sandra (Dan) O’Leary; grandchildren: James Rovito, Jessica (Steve) Blair, Ashley Dunlap and Nicholas Dunlap; great-grandchildren, Robert Blair, Brianna Blair and Trey Rovito and special friend, Mary. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sharon; brother, Donald and sons-in-law, Ron Rovito and Jim Roberts.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, September 7, 2017, from 10-12 p.m. where services will be held at 12 noon. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to the Toledo Humane Society.
