Wayne H. Brueshaber, 72, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital. He was born on April 29, 1945 in Monroe, Michigan to Elmer and Lucille (Swartz) Brueshaber. Wayne served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He worked many years as a machinist and Cutter/grinder with Teledyne Technologies Inc. until his retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and was an avid history scholar. Wayne was a fantastic father and grandfather and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his children, Terrie (John) Gibbons and Robert (Jeannie) Diehl; grandchildren, Nikki, Courtney ( Kalynn), John, Jake, Thomas, Matthew and Elizabeth’ one great-granddaughter and 3 siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife, Jan Brueshaber.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Freck Funeral Chapel. Inurnment will be private at St. Ignatius Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
