Barbara Jean Oberdorf

Barbara Jean Oberdorf age 84 of Point Place passed away at home Saturday, March 18, 2023. Barbara was born to Harold and Genevieve (Spellis) Werner on May 10, 1938, in Toledo, Ohio. Barbara was a 1956 graduate of Waite High School. She enjoyed years of camping, traveling the US, and socializing with the love of her life, her husband Robert “Obie”. Robert “Obie” preceded her in death in 2008. They shared 52 years of marriage and raised 3 beautiful daughters together.  

Barbara is survived by her daughters Robin (James) Kramer, Randi Damman, and Ruth (Floyd) Light; grandchildren Jillian Kramer, Daniel (Ashley) Kramer, Garrett (Jessica) Damman, Kendra (Eric) Watts, Carly (David) Lambert, Jason (Madison) Damman; great-grandchildren Graham, Genevieve, and Benson; and siblings Mark Werner and Kathleen Werner.

A visitation will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S Wynn Rd in Oregon, Ohio on Thursday, March 23, 2023, from 1 until 6 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. A private burial will be held at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions are appreciated to St. Louis Helping Hands.
