Betty G. Thomson

Betty G. Thomson, age 90, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Arbors of Oregon.  She was born on February 18, 1932 in Millbury, Ohio to Adelard and Eva Bourdeau.  Betty was a 1951 graduate of Waite High School.  She was a member of Epiphany of the Lord Parish-Sacred Heart Church where she served as a former Director of the RCIA program.   Betty worked in the bursar’s office at Davis Business College, retiring in 1993.  She served on the Toledo Board of Education at Waite High School for many years and ran the Yesterday and Today serenity gift shop and support group.

Betty is survived by her children, Jean Thomson, Karl Thomson, David Thomson, and Robert (Lisa) Thomson; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Paul, Michael, and Douglas; and her siblings, Lenny, Bourdeau, George Bourdeau, and Melva Burkhardt.

A memorial gathering will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, July 1, 2022, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. where a memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to Al-Anon.
