Bonnie Jean Krum

Bonnie Jean Krum, 88, of Williston, OH, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family Sunday, April 23, 2023. She was born in Toledo, OH to Edward and Florence (Bradner) Worden. She married the love of her life, Eugene Krum, and together they raised their family of six children. Bonnie worked as a salesperson for the French Knot Craft Store at the Great Eastern Shopping Center for many years. Bonnie enjoyed traveling by motorcycle with her husband, and together they traveled to every state west of the Mississippi and almost every state east. They were also members of the Goldwingers Motorcycle Club. Bonnie and her husband would make and serve bowls of chili every Saturday to the homeless in downtown Toledo and served over 5,000 bowls of chili over the years. Her greatest joy in life was her family and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Bonnie leaves behind her children, Denise (Jeff) McGirt, Kevin (Chris) Assad, Lisa (Toby) Autry, Janine Emlinger (John Sullivan), Tracy Krum, and Todd Krum; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren; and sister, Linda Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene; her granddaughter, Kelly Assad; her sister, Pat Dedo; and her step-brother, Donald Worden.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held Friday, April 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home and Bonnie will be laid to rest with her husband at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to Ohio Living Hospice.
