Brenda Kay Watts

Brenda Kay Watts, 74, of Northwood, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Mercy Health-St. Charles Hospital.  She was born on October 23, 1946 in Catlettsburg, Kentucky to Richard and Martha Marie Frisby.  Brenda worked as a beautician instructor and as a secretary before starting her family.  She married Boyd Watts on September 1, 1966 having two children.  Brenda worked most recently at Meijer’s as a food demonstrator.  She was a member of Philadelphia United Baptist Church Huntington, WV and attended Neighborhood F.W.B. Church in Oregon, OH.  Brenda was a devoted wife, mom, and Mimi.  She lived fiercely for her children and grandchildren.  She enjoyed cooking for family, enjoying flowers and interior decorating, and loved her church.  She will be dearly missed.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Boyd “Chris” Watts; children, Tosha (Todd) Carman and Boyd Aaron (Diana) Watts; grandchildren, Alexander, Christopher, and Jessica; sisters-in-law, Vickie and Pam Frisby and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Richard “Bud” Frisby and Greg A. Frisby.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, from 11-2:00 p.m. where services will be held at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Roy Hayes officiating.  Memorial contributions can be made to Neighborhood F.W.B.
