Obituary

Carol Sue Too-Tall, 78, of Painesville Township, OH, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022. She was born March 29, 1944 in Findlay, OH to Marion and Marilyn (Russell) Hickle. Sue enjoyed traveling and lived in such places as Colorado, Florida, Texas, and Germany. She also enjoyed crocheting, walking the metroparks around Lake Erie, Tai-Chi exercise, but most of all she loved playing and spending time with her grandchildren. Some of her grandchildren’s fondest memories were siting on her lap while she read stories to them and of her snuggling their necks as they laughed and tried to escape. Sue started her career in cosmetology doing hair and later owned her own beauty salon for ten years. Later in life, she wanted to help others and became a nurse and worked at several facilities including Hospice of the Western Reserve. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Sue leaves behind her sons, Bret (Kimberly) Wells and Bryan Wells; her grandchildren, Matthew Wells, Logan Wells, Taylor Wells, Amanda (Michael) McGinnis, Zane (Sarah) Wells, Kaylee Wells, and Megan Wells; and her great-grandchildren, Layla McGinnis, Logan McGinnis, and Nash McGinnis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Marilyn Hickle, and her husband, Richard.
