Carolyn June Vrooman

Carolyn J. Vrooman, 76, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Majestic Care of Toledo.  She was born on November 17, 1946 in Toledo, Ohio to Gilford and Dorothy Boling.  Carolyn met the love of her life, Leslie in December of 1960.  They would have been married 62 years in March.  Carolyn loved county music, dancing, reading, and playing bingo.  She will be dearly missed. 

Carolyn is survived by her five children, Rick (Jenny), Vicky (Jim), Brian (Karen), Dawn and Robert (Angela); proud grandmother of 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sisters, Pat (Tom), Darlene, Linda, and Shirley; and sister-in-law, Linda (Don).  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leslie brothers, Bob, and Jerry; sister, Brenda; and brothers-in-law, Tim, Doug, and Jerry.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 2-8:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be held on Friday at 12:30 p.m.  Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
