Christopher Stelter Obituary

Christopher Michael Stelter age 48, of Toledo, passed away June 13, 2021, at Toledo Hospital. Chris was an ASE Certified Mechanic. He worked as a car salesman for the Taylor Automotive Group and most recently for Play Zone. Chris was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was very intelligent and could do everything and fix anything.

Chris is survived by his daughter; son Nathan Stelter; a grandson; mom and dad Cheryl and Steve Schermerhorn; brothers and sisters Daisy Schermerhorn, Valerie Hardesty, Shannon Thomas, David Weltlin, Duane Jr. "Copper" Weltlin, Jason Weltllin, Chad Schermerhorn, Troy Corwin, Jessica Meyers, and Jennifer Hiser; special aunt Brenda Stelter; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Duane Weltlin; sister Tammy Washington; brother Steven Schermerhorn Jr.; grandparents Gus and Virginia Stelter; uncles Bruce Stelter and Ransom Stelter; aunt Chris Stelter-Bartlett and Karen Martens and fiance' Melissa Brennan.

Friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel on Saturday, June 19, 2021, from 3 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 6 p.m. Memorial contributions are appreciated to the family.
