David Anthony Martin

David Anthony Martin age 32, of Elmore, Ohio passed away on July 4, 2018. David was born to Tim and Rennee Martin on October 4, 1985 in Toledo, Ohio. David was the best tireman east of the Mississippi, a welder, mechanic and always tinkering with something. David most enjoyed spending time with his son Jacob, going to his games; riding four wheelers, snowmobiling and playing with Jacob and his nieces and nephew.

David was a kind soul; he was the first to offer help and would drop everything to be there for family and friends. He, his father, and son were dedicated Cleveland Browns fans, showing just how loyal of a person he was. David’s love of life, sense of humor and contagious smile will forever live in our hearts.

David is survived by his son, Jacob Rutherford; mother of his son, Shannon Dixon; grandparents, Roy and Pat “Chee” McAllister and Joan Supinski; parents, Tim Jr. and Rennee Martin; siblings, Melissa (Brandon) Owens and Tim Martin III; nieces and nephew, Keira, Cameron, Brooklyn, and Brielle; girlfriend, Brianna Saldivar; special little friend, Aaliyha Saldivar; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Audrey; grandfathers, Tim Martin Sr. and Richard Supinski; cousins, Mike Garcia and Josh Martin.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Monday, July 9, 2018 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Bowling Green, Ohio. In lieu of flowers please direct memorial contributions to any 5/3 Bank under Melissa Owens for the Benefit of Jacob Rutherford.

Jacob asks that friends and family wear Cleveland Browns or Ohio State attire for the visitation and funeral.
