David Ross

David Ross, 69, of Oregon, Ohio passed away suddenly June 30th, 2021, at MercyHealth-St. Vincent's Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

He was born January 24th, 1952 in Uniontown Pennsylvania to Robert and Jessie Ross. David attended Clay High School and received his GED several years later. He married the love of his life, in May of 1970, and they recently celebrated 51 years of marriage and 53 years together. 

He worked many jobs in his younger years and was considered a jack of all trades. He worked 30 years for Johnson Controls Battery Division where he made many great friends. He retired from Johnson Controls in 2014. David enjoyed working in his garden, barn, fishing, going to car shows, playing cards, and working on his dream car, a '64 Tempest that he was restoring. He was so happy to finally have that car after first seeing it with his wife when they were just 17.  He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. David is survived by his wife Betty, daughter Dena (son Mike) McPherson, his father Robert Ross, twin brother Curt (Sue) Ross, sister Sharon (Doug) Wuellner, his "brother from another mother" Charlie (Judy) Phillips, grandsons Zach McPherson, Zed (Alexis) McPherson, and very specials great grandson's Zane, Pierce, and Cooper McPherson also many special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Mother Jessie Ross and sister Bobbie Sharp. David will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Per his wishes he will be cremated and there will be no services. We do ask that you get together with others who knew him and share stories to keep his memory alive, and to keep us all in prayer. Any memorial contributions in his name may be made to his wife, Betty.
