Delores Ann (Fahringer) Roe

Delores Ann Roe, 80, died Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio to join her beloved husband Carl. She was born July 18, 1938 in Archbold, OH. Delores retired from St. Charles Hospital medical records, but also drove school bus for Lake Local for many years. Delores and her husband Carl wintered in Florida for 20 years. She loved camping and fishing. Delores was a member of the Red Hat Society and was a Millbury Fire Maid for many years.

Delores married the love of her life, Carl Thomas Roe on December 28, 1957. She was blessed with four children, Thomas (Deb), Sandi (Kevin) Thomas, Connie (Matt) Cornett and Randy. As much as she loved her children, the true light of her life were her grandchildren; Tamra Roe, Rebecca (Corey) Abbott, Cindy (Michael) Zeiler, Amanda (Will) Cook, Stacey (Kyle) Babka, Kelley McClung, Alicia Freeman and Michael Jester. They gifted her with twelve great- grandchildren. With open arms and open heart she was an honorary mother and grandmother to Tony, Richard and Charlie Miller, Cheryl DeShetler, Robin (Terry) Chio, Theresa Wilson, Sherri Cornett and Jessicka and Tatumn Riddle. She is preceded in death by her husband Carl; her parents Francis and Freida (Dietrich) Fahringer; brothers Cyrus, Russel and Vernon, sisters; Valerie and Margaret.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Sunday, November 4, 2018, from 2-7 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday,  November 5, 2018 at St. John’s UCC, 1213 Washington St., Genoa, OH, 43430 with visitation from 10-11 a.m. Burial will follow at Lake Twp.
