Donald G. Singlar

Donald G. Singlar, 84, of Toledo, OH, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022. He was born to Edward and Margaret (Kain) Singlar in Toledo, OH on July 11, 1937. Donald worked for many years as a lab technician for Surface Combustion and later retired from AP Parts. He enjoyed working around the house and was skilled at fixing and repairing anything from remodeling the house to repairing cars, but most of all, he cherished the time spent with his family.

Donald leaves behind his loving wife of 61 years, Joann Singlar; his children, Alan (Regina) Singlar, Deanna (David) Routson, and Renee (Jeffrey) Webb; his grandchildren, Madeline, Corey, Turner, Kaitlin, Justine, Travis, and Espen; and his great-grandchild, Canen. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, John, Clara, and Richard.

Family and friends may visit the  Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, June 23, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Donald will be laid to rest at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the American Cancer Society or Humane Ohio.
