Emma Mae Roberts

Emma Mae Roberts, age 79, of Oregon passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at Bay Park Community Hospital. Emma was born to Marion and Anna (Mowery) Girardot on March 9, 1942 in Toledo, Ohio. Emma was married to Daniel in 1978. She was in leadership at Nations Gospel Tabernacle handling finances, Sunday school, and stepping in wherever she was needed. Emma was dedicated and devoted to her family, especially her husband. She enjoyed crochet, cross-stitch, gardening, and camping. Emma loved her dachshund dogs very much.    
Emma is survived by her husband of 43 years, Daniel; sons Arnold Ray (Linda) Colvin, Joel (Renee) Roberts, and David (Rena) Schmerber; daughters, Becky (Fred) Dazley and Julie Bauer; brother Marion (Dorothy) Girardot Jr.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Emma was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Robert and John.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, from 9-11:00 a.m. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to Nations Gospel Tabernacle.
